In Loving Memory of Cynthia "Cindy" Holbrooks Watford "A life well lived, a heart well loved, and a legacy that will live on forever." Cynthia "Cindy" Holbrooks Watford, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, surrounded by her loving family, who remained by her side until her final breath. Cindy leaves behind a beautiful legacy of love and cherished memories. She is survived by her devoted husband of 42 years, Ashton "Rock" Watford, Jr.; her children, Ashley (Travis) Shirley, Trey (Courtney) Watford, and Andrea (Johnny) Bilsky; and her nine beloved grandchildren, Abigail, Carolina, Landon, Addison, Sadie, Stella, Austin, Bonnie, and Maverick. She is also survived by her sister, Angel Whitlock, and her stepfather, Joyner Moore. Cindy was a woman of great faith. Her faith was unwavering and an inspiration. She loved God deeply, loved her family wholeheartedly, and had a special gift for making everyone she met feel welcomed and loved. She truly never met a stranger and had a way of making everyone feel like one of her own. She found joy in the simple things in life-cooking, shopping, fishing and spending time working in her garden and flowerbeds. But more than anything, Cindy treasured the time she spent with her children and grandchildren. They were the center of her world and her greatest joy. Her love, faith, laughter, and strength will live on through the family she loved so dearly. Though she will be deeply missed, her family can find comfort knowing that her life was filled with love, and that the memories she created with them will remain in their hearts forever. "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will award to me on that day and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing." 2 Timothy 4:7-8 Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 17, 2026, at 11 am at the Watford home. Burial will follow at Florence Memorial Gardens directed by Kistler-Hardee Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the Watford home, 2555 S Charleston Road, Darlington, on Sunday, August 16, 2026, any time after 3 PM.
