Tina Marie Lancto

Tina Marie Lancto, 58, of Darlington, SC, passed away suddenly on February 6, 2023. Tina was born on June 4, 1964, to Marion Consaul and Dominic Negri, Jr in Pittsfield, MA. She graduated in 1982 from Taconic High School and relocated to Darlington, SC in 1997. Many probably remember Tina’s smiling face from Fast Trak. She was employed there for many, many years. She held numerous conversations, had a lot of laughs, and made countless friends during her lengthy employment there. Although she enjoyed her work at the store, the time came when Tina felt the yearning to return to the Home Health field as she had done before she moved to SC. She worked with many families over the years, graciously caring for their loved ones. So many families grew to love her warm and caring spirit that they included her as a part of their own, keeping in touch with her even after their loved ones had passed. Tina was affectionately known as Meme to her grandchildren, whom she just adored with all her heart. She made the most of her time spent with them. They loved making crafts, dressing up, dancing around, or merely cuddling up reading a story together. It was evident that her grandkids loved their Meme just as much as she loved them. To know Tina was to love her! As the saying goes, she never met a stranger. If Tina had something that you needed, it was as good as yours. She was just that humble, good-natured type of person who did something expecting nothing in return. Helping others and doing whatever she could to make a difference was just who Tina was. She loved to laugh and could light up any room with her presence. She truly enjoyed spending time surrounded by family and friends. Whether it was gathering alongside a bonfire laughing at silly stories or singing karaoke, she was always amongst the crowd. She also loved to spend time at the beach, even if it was just for the day. Additionally, she loved to shop for deals with her best friend, Myrna. The two of them could go store to store and then hit up Bargain Bins for hours at a time. Truth is, Tina was everybody’s person. Tina will be missed terribly by the numerous lives that she touched in one way or another. She was preceded in death, not only by her loving parents, but also by her beautiful granddaughter, Brynleigh Zatorski, as well as her husband, Lewis. Tina is survived and missed dearly by her children, Bryan Zatorski (Christina), Michael Lancto (Bri), and Reno Lancto (Juan); her grandchildren, Ava, Avery, Robert, Julian, Mckenzie, Adalynn, Briella, and Sayler; her siblings, Dominic Negri, III (Linda), Amy Timberlake (Greg), and John Cummings; as well as her Godson, Dominic Green. Tina also leaves to cherish her memory, a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members, loved ones, and close friends. Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 10, 2023 at 3 PM in the Chapel of Kistler Hardee Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 2 until 3 PM on Friday, February 10, 2023 at the funeral home.
