Darlington, South Carolina Chris Shawn “Scruff” Dorman, 45, of Darlington died on Saturday, August 31, 2019 unexpected on vacation in New Orleans, LA with his family and friends. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, September 8, 2019 at 3 PM in the Chapel of Kistler Hardee Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Faith Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2 until 3 PM on Sunday, September 8, 2019 at Kistler Hardee Funeral Home and also other times at the home, 208 South Dargan Street, Darlington, SC. The family also would like to invite everyone to a celebration of life gathering for Chris on Saturday, September 7, 2019 from 6 until 9 PM at South of Pearl, 117 Edwards Ave, Darlington, SC 29532. Chris was born on August 14, 1974 in Manassas, Virginia. He was the son of Danny Criss Dorman and Brenda Dunlap Dorman. Chris worked for Medic of South Carolina and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Surviving are his loving husband, Allen Tisdale of Darlington; his father, Danny Dorman of Longs, SC; his mother, Brenda Dunlap of Dixie West Virginia; his canine companions, River, Jasimine, Junior; his brother, Jason Dorman of Longs, SC; his “special aunt”, Kathy Wills; his nephews, Donovan Mouzon, Preston Mouzon, Nick Wills, and Aidan Pierce; his niece, Alyssa Wills; his great niece, Braelynn Mouzon; his mother-in-law, Kay Tisdale of Darlington; his sisters-in-law, Mary (Rich) Corley and Stephanie (Robert) Richardson; his cousin, Connie (Buddy) Rawls; and his special friends, Paige Steen, Kescha Timmons, Chris Timmons, Cheryl Williamson, Megan Pierce, Nora Kilton and JT Bradley; and other loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
