Bennettsville, South Carolina Gabriel Thomas Averette, 15, of Bennettsville died on Saturday, November 9, 2019. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Gabriel was born in Marion County. He loved playing video games, watching you tube video talking with his friends. Gabriel favorite color was lime green and he had a fun loving energetic and funny personality. He liked listening to all music, scaring his mom and loved being with his brother which he called “Buddy”. Gabriel was also a student at Marlboro County High School. Surviving are his mother, Pam Fowble; his brother, Justin Averette; his grandparents, Van Averette of Florence and Carolyn Averette of Dunn, NC; his uncles, Kenny and William Averette of Dunn, NC; his aunt, Helen Powers of Florence; his great uncles, James Bryant, and Ronald Averette; and great aunt, Barbara Lamb.
