Mary Ann Gainey Weatherford of Darlington died on Saturday, December 4, 2021. A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 10, 2021 at 7 PM in the Chapel of Kistler-Hardee Funeral Home. The family will receive friends following the service. Ann was born in Darlington County. She was the daughter of the late Thomas and Peggy Roberts Gainey. Ann was a bartender for many years at Ann's Place in Dovesville. She loved people and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Surviving are her husband, Tommy "T.W." Weatherford; her son, Gerald Davis and wife, Bridgette; her sister, Faye Garand and husband, Jon; her brother, Johnny Gainey and wife, Terri; and four grandchildren, Thomas, Taylor, Meranda, and Bradley.
