Richard Dean Asaro

September 10, 1960 - January 26, 2021

“Soon I Shall hear the call from Heaven’s portals, “Come home, My child, it’s the last mile you must trod.” I’ll fall asleep and wake up in God’s new heaven For I’m sheltered in the arms of God” is exactly what Dean Asaro did Tuesday night. Dean loved God and worshipped him with his wife Anita in their son ministry. A good and faithful servant he is now singing in God’s heavenly choir. Born to the late Sam and Myrna Asaro, Dean is survived by the love of his life, his wife Anita Miller Asaro, his son, Ricky (Buffy) Asaro, sister, Hope Frye, brothers, Edddie (Debbie) Asaro, Todd Asaro, his step children, Shannon (Clay) Howell and Richie (Jennifer) Nichol. The joys of his life were his grandchildren, Dani-Jo, Taylor, Aaliyah, Remy, Mason, Marianna, and great granddaughter, Ava. He also loved and cherished his mother-in-law, Mary Miller, his in-laws, Earl and Debra Grooms, Eddie Miller, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Thanks to the many calls, visits, food and fellowship to honor Dean. We love and appreciate you all. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Anita Asaro at PO Box 113, Darlington, SC 29540. A private service to celebrate Dean’s life was a held on Thursday, January 28, 2021 in the Chapel of Kistler-Hardee Funeral Home.
