Darlington, South Carolina Terry Clinton Koontz, 57, of Darlington died on Sunday, September 22, 2019 at his home. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 27, 2019 at 3 PM in Chapel of Kistler Hardee Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 2 until 3 PM on Friday, September 27, 2019 at Kistler Hardee Funeral Home and other times at the home, 209 Trexler Street, Darlington. Terry was born in Mocksville, NC. He was the son of Jean Phillips Koontz and the late Joe Foster Koontz. Terry had a great sense of humor always making people laugh and enjoyed spending time with his family. Surviving are his wife, Marla Hanna Koontz; his mother, Jean Phillips Koontz; his children, Heather Koontz and Rebecca Speight (Paul); his grandchildren, Joshua, Zoey, Zackary, Zane and Laylah; his brothers, Michael Koontz (Linda) and Roger Koontz; his sister, Sharon Poole (William); his loving nieces and nephews, Brittany, Courtney, Seth Skylar, and Lance; his mother-in-law, Judy Hanna; and his brother-in-law, Greg Hanna.
