Darlington, South Carolina William Junior Mayo, 30, died on Monday, August 2, 2021. A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, August 7, 2021 at 12:00 Noon in the Chapel of Kistler Hardee Funeral Home. The family will receive friends following the service and other times at the home of his sister, Teresa Johnson. William was born in Florence, SC. He enjoyed fishing, writing poems and music. William also enjoyed drawing. Surviving are his mother and step father, Polly and Steve Smoak of Darlington; his maternal grandmother, Nadine Morris; his sisters, Teresa Johnson and husband Rodger, Gina Poston and fiancé, Colby Summerford, and Cecelia Poston; his brothers, Wiley Justin Mayo and wife, Lechelle, and James D. Mayo; his nieces and nephews, Emily Johnson, Rodger Johnson, Angel Johnson, Justin Mayo, Annistynn Mayo, and Joshua Davis; and special cousin, Crystal Turner.
