Scott Weaver

Scott Weaver went to be with the Lord January 19,2026. Scott began working with Singletary’s in Darlington when he was still in high school. His custom exhaust work became popular with the locals, eventually branching out to customers who brought their cars in from out of state for Scott to install exhaust systems. However, he was not just limited to exhaust and mechanic work. For several years, Scott held the role of firefighter for the City of Florence. His service to others shone bright in each career he chose to pursue. Scott was currently employed by Nucor Steel in Darlington. He began as a Relief Operator, spent time serving as a Billet Stocker, and finally worked his way up into his most recent role as Mill Adjuster. He was always proud to share about the work he did at Nucor. Scott’s favorite titles he held were husband and dad. His love for his family knew no bounds, and everything he did was rooted in caring for and protecting them. His wife, son, and two daughters were his entire world and everything he needed to be happy in his life. He was a devoted Clemson Tigers fan (but an honorary Gamecocks fan as of August 2025), never missed a NASCAR race at the Lady in Black, and was always up for a round of golf or a trip to the shooting range. He was a talented drummer and never lost the passion for playing, even when his hands couldn’t keep up like they used to. He had never ended stories to tell and as long as someone was listening, he could share them for hours. More than anything, He was a faithful servant of God whose life was defined by love and unwavering dedication to everything he did. Scott lived his faith daily through hard work, selflessness, and service to others, and anyone who knew him best knew he would give the shirt off of his back for someone in need. Scott is survived by his wife, Amy Shake Weaver; his son, Bradley Weaver; his daughters, Maitland Weaver Parra (Derek) and Emi Weaver; his brothers, Jonathan Weaver (Shelly), Jake Mims (Casie); and his sister, Cherelle Whitfield (Eddie); his mother, Patsy Singletary (Robert); and his stepmother, Tonda Weaver. Scott was preceded in death by his father, Danny Weaver. The family will receive friends Wednesday, January 21, 2026, from 5 PM until 7 PM at Kistler-Hardee Funeral Home, 315 Pearl Street, Darlington, SC. Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 22, 2026, at 11 AM next door at The Darlington Presbyterian Church. A private committal service will be held at a later time at Grove Hill Cemetery. The Directors of Kistler Hardee Funeral Home are honored to be serving the Weaver family.
